The Dentists
Dr Elizabeth Rowland
Elizabeth qualified from the University of Wales, UK and is a dentist with vast experience of general dentistry, oral surgery and the treatment of phobic, medically compromised and special needs patients. She has worked in the United Kingdom for many years before moving to Australia in 2006 where she has worked in the government services, private practice, with the RFDS in Far North Queensland and the helping Hands Project in The Northern Territory. A perfectionist by nature Elizabeth is committed to an integrative approach to modern dentistry incorporating exceptional dental techniques and the very best of modern and complementary medicine to deliver total dental wellbeing to her clients.
Dr Imogen Foster
Imogen qualified at the University of Birmingham, UK and has over 20 years’ experience across a wide range of dentistry. She is an enthusiastic, competent and professional practitioner with excellent communication skills who works to the highest standards both clinically and ethically. Passionate about prevention, Imogen has spent much of her career in the UK at an award-winning progressive practice specializing in general and cosmetic dentistry. She also spent two years working in the Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East and relocated with her family to Tasmania in 2006 to work in general practice. We are delighted to welcome Imogen to Hervey Bay and are confident that she will prove to be a valuable member of our senior dental team.
Dr Tarek Kamel
Tarek qualified from the University of Cairo Egypt. He is an experienced general dentistry practitioner and has worked in Egypt, Germany and South Australia before relocating to Hervey Bay. He is a highly talented and a very committed dentist with a keen interest in implantology and cosmetic dentistry. He has exceptional communication skills and speaks English, German and Arabic fluently. Like the rest of our dental team he is committed to providing exceptional dental care for his clients.
The Dentists Assistants
Our team of dentists is assisted by a team of highly motivated dental assistants, all of whom have been selected for their caring compassionate nature, personality and professional standards.
Kate Goring
Kate has seven years experience as a dental assistant working in NSW and Victoria. She recently relocated to Queensland and we are very happy to welcome her experience, skills and caring personality into our practice.
Karen Miles
Karen is a local who has worked in dentistry for six years. She is fun, bubbly and confident and enjoys all aspects of her job. She is committed to being the best dental assistant she possibly can.
Leanne Dekker
Leanne has three years’ experience as a dental assistant and returns to dentistry after some years in the property industry. She is open and enthusiastic and enjoys new challenges. She is looking forward to working closely in a team environment once more.
Kim Blacklock
After several years working in the pharmacy side of health care, Kim has accepted a new challenge. She is an outgoing, friendly, people person who genuinely shows empathy and compassion for the people with whom she interacts while delivering professional customer care.
Natasha Rennie
Natasha is moving to the dental side of health care but has much experience in the fields of medical reception and administration. She is dedicated to her role, is a strong team player and relishes a fresh challenge.
Natalie Francis
Natalie is new to the health care industry but her experience in hospitality, her abundance of positive energy, being a fast learner and having a caring and compassionate nature, make her an exceptional addition to our team.
Amie Kirby
Amie is also new to health care and is a bubbly character with a genuine interest in providing care to our clients. She is relishing the opportunity to expand her skills and knowledge while helping others.
